The Office of the Commissioner
The Honourable Commissioner for Health is the Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Health. She oversees the running of the Ministry through the Permanent Secretary.
The Hon. Commissioner for Health is the leader of the health sector in Rivers State and represents the State in health issues at the federal level. This she does through the various Ministries, agencies, departments. Other stakeholders of Health include the Permanent/ Executive Secretary of RSPHCMB, Chief Medical Director RSHMB, head of agencies and medical institutions, and their key officers.
